The Australia-First movement, born from the March for Australia rallies, has sparked a national awakening, gathering millions of social media views throughout October and proving that millions of Australians are paying attention, even if they’re not all marching in the streets.
“An estimated 10,000 people marched on October 19, but don’t be fooled by the crowd counts,” said Scott Challen, one of the Brisbane march organisers and prominent construction company owner.
Social media accounts including Turning Point Australia, Big Chocky (Chris Katelaris), Joel Jammal, 2 Worlds Collide Podcast (Sam Bamford), Aus Integrity, and Shallow Chal (Scott Challen) have amplified the message, exposing what they describe as government failures to embrace Australians first – combined they have said their posts over October alone received over 142 million views.
“The message is spreading faster than ever. Everyday Australians are the new media, and the numbers prove it,” Challen said.
“The government has lost its grip on the narrative. Australians are tuning out of the propaganda and tuning in to the truth. Everyday Aussies are educating each other, and that’s more powerful than any newsroom.”
He said Australians have reached breaking point after years of government mismanagement, from soaring housing costs and underemployment to a cost-of-living crisis worsened by mass immigration.
“We don’t blame migrants, we feel for them. They’ve been sold a dream that won’t eventuate under the conditions both major parties have created. The blame lies squarely with politicians who’ve sold out their own citizens.”
Challen said the next ‘March for Australia – Australians First to End Mass Immigration’ is being planned for 26 January 2026.
“Next year’s Australia Day will be the biggest national pride day this country has ever seen,” he said. “We want Australians to set a record for the most flags flown on any Australia Day, a day where every Aussie proudly stands up for their country again.”
