Major Political Figures and Commentators to Speak at Brisbane Australia Day Rally

Australia Marches has announced what is expected to be the largest Australia Day rally in the country, to be held on Monday, 26 January 2026 at the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens.

Following two record-breaking rallies in 2025, each attracting more than 10,000 attendees, organisers say the Brisbane Australia Day event will bring together politicians, high-profile political commentators and thousands of everyday Australians for a patriotic, family-friendly celebration with a strong national message. The event is supported by The Australian Lobby Group, a newly established organisation representing everyday Australians and advocating for policies that put Australians first.

Australia Marches organiser and Australian Lobby Group founder Scott Challen said the movement continues to grow because it is grassroots, transparent and driven by the community.

“Australia Marches is not affiliated with any political party or foreign lobby group. There’s no foreign money and no hidden agendas, these events are organised and funded by everyday Australians,” Challen said.

“With this Labor Government trying to impose ‘Combatting Hate and Extremism laws,’ the most draconian Bills to be presented to Parliament, January 26 will be massive.”

“This is the real Australia-First movement. Australians are angry and disappointed with their political representation and they are ready to step up.”

The Brisbane rally will feature speeches from senior political figures, community leaders and commentators, including Senators Pauline Hanson, Malcolm Roberts & Ralph Babet, Robbie Katter MP, former QLD MP Steve Dickson, Harry Richardson (British-Australian Community), Ed Schuller (Teachers’ Professional Association of Australia), Lachlan Lade and Ben Adams (The Australian Lobby Group), Sam Bamford (2Worlds Collide Podcast), Big Chocky (The Controversial Coach), CrocTurnbull & Scott Challen (Australia Marches).

Organisers say the confirmed speakers alone collectively reach millions of Australians nationwide on their social media platforms.

The free Australia Day event will include live music, a DJ, comedians and a free sausage sizzle.
